Scope Day — ‘Around the World in A Day’ is on Periscope on Saturday, Nov. Scope Day (@ScopeDay) consists of 53 broadcasters on 6 continents and 31 cities showing us the very best of their city over 16 hours. Scope Day begins at 5:30 am PST/12:30 PM UTC - and ends at 9:30 pm PST/4:30 AM UTC. The cities/countries we’ll visit during Scope Day are: Sydney, Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Osaka, Kyoto, Seoul, Belgrade, Milan, Rome, Berlin, Amsterdam, Dublin, Dubai, Salzburg, Paris, London, Nepal, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oahu, Hilo, Israel, Kenya, Nairobi, Malaysia, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. We have 9 musicians who will each perform a Taylor Swift song within their 15 minute set. We will see Leonardo da Vinci inside the Sforza Castle. // Belgrade, Serbia Nikola Tesla museum will open the museum late just for Scope Day. Amsterdam, Netherlands The Van Gough Museum will be broadcasting from Museum Night 2015. // Rome, Italy Archae­ol­o­gist, pro­fes­sor, doc­u­men­tary host, Dar­ius Arya is just as com­fort­able in front of the prover­bial black board as he is in front of the cam­era and in the trenches. He has appeared as guest lec­turer, expert and host in numer­ous doc­u­men­taries for Dis­cov­ery, His­tory and National Geo­graphic chan­nels, and has been cited in arti­cles in CNN, Time, The Guardian and BBC. Most recently, he is appear­ing on CNN’s Find­ing Jesus series, air­ing March, 2015. Darius will be giving us a tour of the Forum & Capitolne.
