I've been a journalist for over 30 years and I'm still a freelance working journalist today with contacts at a local, regional and national level. I started my media consultancy in 2008 and have, over time, provided PR support and training, ad hoc support, strategy planning and crisis management. I also have experience in helping large organisations build media relations into their disaster recovery plans. As my consultancy has grown I have started to work with other media professionals to deliver client stories and send them out to the media. Therefore often a client will get two or three qualified media professionals working on their project when they initially thought they were working with a one-woman band. I also offer online courses and media workshops for those in business - or in a charity - who have limited budgets yet still want to be educated around PR. These are easily found on my website. I'm a strong believer that in telling others to 'walk a walk' I should do the same.
