Scratch Lightning (SL) was formed in November of 2012, by entertainment executive Sam F. Park. Scratch Lightning (SL) specializes in low budget horror, science fiction, action, and adventure projects. These genres have extremely loyal consumers that have demonstrated a deep desire to spend money on movie tickets, VOD and DVD rentals as well as brand related merchandising. SL is launching an initial slate of three feature horror films:"RAVE'N HELL" and "STINGER." These films will be produced with three million dollar budgets while working with the top special effects and production experts in the industry. With well established credentials and close personal relationships within the Hollywood horror and special effects production community SL will deliver greater production value in horror films created with a passion that money can not buy. The movies will have theatrical potential and be in high demand for VOD, DVD and other ancillary venues. They can stand alone and/or generate franchises like “Friday the 13th,” “Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Saw."
