We exist to support the doctors and nurses that save lives. Because when they’re looked after, patients are looked after too. We know the daily challenges, fears, and frustrations that doctors experience — because we’re doctors too. Our Scrawl platform began as a tool to help Dr Bill O’Brien and Dr Stephen Winters sleep at night, knowing that when they weren’t at work, their Neurology Department would be run to the high standards that they expected — and that their patients deserved. Building Scrawl meant capturing senior clinicians’ knowledge and creating an intuitive process to share it. It meant eliminating the low value work that doctors hate doing. We created a tool that supports doctors, rather than software that instructs doctors what to do. Scrawl transformed the Gosford Hospital Neurology Department, got patients home to their families sooner, and gave Dr O’Brien and Dr Winters a view of their hospital that they never thought was possible. Now we’re out to help every hospital see the complete picture.
