Scytec Consulting Inc, located in Greenwood Village, CO, was formed in 2001 and is a small software development and consulting company. Scytec is focused on the use of technology to design and implement innovative products and systems such as the Scytec DataXchange Cloud based application to improve productivity and utilization of manufacturing equipment. DataXchange™ is a Cloud based manufacturing machine monitoring and reporting system that provides robust real-time and historical manufacturing data viewable on overhead dashboards and on a variety of devices ranging from desktop PCs to iPads, iPhones and Android devices. The Cloud based Software as a Service (SaaS) model with a no commitment monthly service fees provides machine event monitoring with no large capital investment. The Cloud based approach eliminates the need for on-site web and data servers and associated data server maintenance. Highly scalable, the system can be used to monitor one machine, or an entire shop floor, or multiple facilities. Easy-to-use configuration tools lets the users define exactly how they want to interpret and view the data for metrics such as utilization and downtime tracking. DataXchange™ takes input from almost any machine or shop floor device using Fanuc FOCAS™, MTConnect™, tablets, barcode scanners, or hardware adapter modules.
