SDU Winery was founded by Shambhavi Hingorani with a vision to create wines that gently broaden the Indian palate. Planted in 2003 and established in 2011, the vineyards sit on the rich soils of the Nandi Valley appellation in Karnataka, a terroir that gives each vintage its character. Our philosophy is simple: respect the land, honour tradition, and embrace innovation. From hand-harvesting and minimal intervention to the use of advanced Italian equipment, we focus on sustainable, small-batch craftsmanship. Each bottle reflects a balance of authenticity, creativity, and refinement.
