Established in 1977, Seafab Consultants Ltd, now based in modern facilities in Dyce, Aberdeen, provides a service for refinery, marine, offshore and petrochemical construction. Seafab serve the North Sea oil and gas industries with quality pipework and structural steelwork fabrications, including offsites and marine services. Piping materials range from standard API 5L Grade B and low- temperature ASTM Grade 6 through to the full range of stainless steels and exotic nonferrous materials, for example 90/10 Cunifer, Super Duplex and Inconel 625. All associated weld procedures have been independently endorsed by insurance authorities of the calibre of, for example, Lloyd's Register and Det Norske Veritas (DNV). Documentation packages in CD-ROM format reflecting full traceability are developed to specific client requirements. Seafab prides itself in the prompt response, close attention to detail and maximum commitment given to meet client's objectives. Seafab is a member of the British Safety Council and through its own Health, Safety and Environmental Policy encourages the safety of its employees. In-house safety standards are achieved through programmed meetings with personnel, which form an important part of Seafab's daily schedule. Seafab operate a quality assurance and management system assessed by Det Norske Veritas and approved to BS-EN-ISO 9001:2008 for Oil, Gas and Marine Services. Clients are invited to access First Point Assessment for independent assessment of Seafab status and performances within the industry. Seafab has established procedures, personnel and equipment to meet material traceability and dimensional control welding technique requirements.
