SearchLocal allows you to see businesses based on location for example a painter in Osu, you’ll then be able to see all painters in this geographic based on review score. The platform allows you to interact with genuine tradespeople / businesses. We have been collecting data not present on Google or online for years, my teams have been in the streets conducting the research and interviewing people one by one. Our mission is to connect the industry to the consumer no matter where they are in Accra first and foremost. Having access to reliable and accountable tradespeople at a competitive price in a swift manner. This will greatly put women and the underrepresented on the map! Furthermore there are challenges facing tradespeople and artisans - Minimal budget, No digital presence, Relying on Word of mouth, lack of digital reviews on their services which our platform seeks to mitigate. In doing so minimizing exposure to rogue tradespeople. Platform Features -Submit jobs locally for artisans to bid on. For example paint my house in Osu-Search for artisans by location, category and review score-Bid on jobs listed on the platform -Payment System exists for customer to pay artisan via SearchLocal for complete peace of mind-Analytics and Insights - Tools for tracking performance and customer engagement -Algorithms to match posted jobs to tradespeople and artisans -Comprehensive Profiles: Detailed profiles with reviews and of Data items that has been collected over the years.
