When Allen Searcy began Allen Searcy Builder-Contractor in 1969 under the name Union City Lumber, he could have never predicted the success that his company would have over the next 48 years. Joined by his son David in 1983 and Brian in 2002, ASBC became a very well-respected and highly sought-after company for full construction and general contracting services. The Searcy vision would not stop with ASBC. They recognized that there was a real need for simple “supply and erect services” within the pre-engineered metal building industry. So, the Searcy’s decided to give people what they for years had been asking – the freedom to manage all aspects of their own projects for the savings that they greatly needed.
