Seattle City Flag

Hello, welcome to our page! We are a Seattle Civic Art non-profit who has received grant funding from the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture to contemporize the city flag of Seattle. Our vision for the Seattle flag is to unite the citizens of Seattle in goodwill. By embodying principles of a harmonious and inclusive city, Seattle’s flag inspires citizens in practicing mutual respect, belonging, and a connection to our natural environment. Our mission is to champion inclusive public art in partnership with the community and City of Seattle. By contemporizing the Seattle flag, we feature the diverse stories and the human experiences that have and continue to shape Seattle — Through civic symbolism to foster a culture of unity, mutual respect, and goodwill, Seattle City Flag offers Seattleites the resources to reach their full potential.
