Second Dragoons Firepit Foundation

The Second Dragoons Firepit Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 dedicated to supporting our servicemen and their families. The Foundation focuses on supporting members of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment and their families with a secondary focus on supporting other servicemembers or those who have supported the US military in current conflicts. The Foundation has paid for family flights to memorial services for servicemembers, assisted with the funding for the SFC Brian Freeman scholarship, provided financial assistance to Iraqi families who risked their lives to assist U.S. forces and have since come to the U.S, and awarded partial scholarships to college-bound cavalry members, alumni or their families. The foundation is a 100% pass-through entity, so all donations go to the end user in need. If we do incur expenses those are covered by our founders and not deducted from donations. None of the members or staff of the foundation are compensated.
