The sins-lab is the home to several research groups and researchers, namely to the Network Applications and Services - Cv and Pattern and Image Analysis - Cv groups. The lab is located in the computer science department of the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal. The Network Applications and Services - Covilhã (nas-Cv) group aims to conduct cutting-edge research and experimental development in the following areas: Applied Artificial Intelligence; Cloud Computing; Computer Networks; Distributed Applications; Distributed Systems; Fog Computing; Gamification and Reputation; Information Security; Internet of Things; Microservices Architecture and Serverless Computing; Mobile Computing; Security by Design and by Construction; Software Engineering and Quality.
