SecurMatic was formed by a group of Information Security professionals with extensive experience in information security, security architecture, governance, risk & compliance, third party risk management & security technology solutions. The co-founders were determined to address the inflexibility and high cost of threat detection and monitoring solutions by making these services affordable & accessible to companies of any size (small to large). As well, having been security practitioners themselves, they recognized the challenge for organizations to stay up-to-date on threats and hire a range of security skillsets while managing within hiring restrictions. SecurMatic’s end to end information security & compliance solutions will assist companies defend against existing, new and emerging cyber threats and meet their increasing information Security challenges and meet their regulatory and compliance obligations. SecurMatic began developing its own proprietary cloud based multi-tenant threat detection software (SIEM) in Oct 2016. Commercial operations of the company, began in February 2018, with a cloud hosted SIEM and Global Security Operations center.
