SecurMed UK is a not-for-profit company set up to deliver the UK Medicines Verification System as required by the EU Falsified Medicines Directive and Delegated Regulation. The company operates under the supervision of the UK National Competent Authorities - MHRA and Dept of Health. SecurMed UK has been incorporated by the principle supply chain stakeholder associations (Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), British Generic Manufacturers Association (BGMA), British Association of European Parallel Distributors (BAEPD), Healthcare Distribution Association (HDA), National Pharmacy Association (NPA) and the Company Chemists Association (CCA).
