Sedis, born in 1946 at the instigation of Peugeot Company was the result of merging of 100th years of experience facilities with one goal: to manufacture the best performing chains, goal we still pursue today. We are the 1st French manufacturer of chains, and amongst the top 5 in Europe. We manufacture all types of transmission, agriculture, leaf, adapted and conveying chains, in addition to wheels and sprockets. For every conveyor in the world, chains are key elements of safety and efficiency. Everything should function to the perfection. This is the reason why, for various industry sectors like cement industry, steel industry, brick and tiles industry, public works and many others, SEDIS deploys its energy at manufacturing highly reliable chains, with the guaranty of our French quality (ISO9001 certification since 1989), a long term technical expertise, warranty of a constant uncompromising quality of our products, and unique know-hows. From standardized to “tailor-made” chains designed for new projects by industrials, we ensure diversity of our offer with chains adapted to every challenge. Always looking for more innovation for our customer satisfaction, SEDIS has managed to industrialize the chromizing process, and is today the only manufacturer who can control this process on big components. It did help SEDIS to significantly increase the wearing resistance of the chains and therefore to extend chain service life expectancy to the most demanding applications. These strengths are today supported by 2 factories in France, 2 subsidiaries in Europe, and more than 100 distribution points all over the world.
