Seed Tanzania

SEED Project is an international non-governmental organization that blends sport, particularly basketball with education to identify and nurture future leaders. SEED works to provide quality education opportunities destined for young people, to maximize student potential; in educational activities with an emphasis on African values, leadership, and social responsibility. SEED exists to educate, empower, and equip youth from around Africa with the right tools so that they, in turn, can become active actors of development on the African continent. The pri- mary target of SEED is students and out-of-school youth, offering them alternative learning expe- riences to maximize their school retention rate. Our dynamic social enhancement programs pro- vide the youth with the opportunity to inspire change in their communities. SEED also engages men and women in leadership skills and commu- nity building experiences to help enhance the career path of young Africans.
