Seedball

Seedball was founded by two conservation scientists in 2012 with the mission to help and inspire more people to grow native wildflowers in their gardens and balconies, and increase the abundance wildflowers for the benefit of bees, butterflies and other garden wildlife. We use an ancient permaculture technique for increasing seed germination rates, wrapping seeds in clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder to protect the seeds from predators - simply scatter and nature will do the rest! We are now stocked in over 500 retailers (including Kew Gardens) and work with other businesses to provide them with sustainable and eco-friendly gifts for their employees.* Each year we donate over seed balls to schools and community groups * We've also worked with and supported The Wildlife Trusts, Plantlife, The Natural History Museum, National Park City Campaign, Outdoor Classroom Campaign.* Multiple Award Winning, including Grow Your Own Magazine 2019 (Best Wildlife Gardening Product) and P.E.A Awards 2020 (Winner of the Nature Category).
