Seiko UK Limited:(Grand Seiko, Seiko, Seiko Clocks, Lorus & Seiko Timing Services) Seiko UK Limited is the wholly owned UK subsidiary of Seiko Watch Corporation operating from Maidenhead since 1985. We are responsible for Grand Seiko, Seiko and Lorus watches as well as Seiko clocks Sales, Marketing, Service & Repair within the UK & Ireland and operate a Grand Seiko Boutique in New Bond Street, London. Established in 1881 when Kintaro Hattori founded a watch and clock repair shop in Tokyo, the Japanese-based company now known as Seiko Watch Corporation (SWC) has grown and diversified over the years but remains best known for its world-leading brands and in-house manufacturing, responsible for many ‘firsts’ in the watch industry. SWC is the only manufacturer with every watchmaking capability including Quartz, Kinetic, Mechanical, Spring Drive, Solar and GPS Solar, resulting in the creation of some of the world’s most innovative and desirable timepieces across a wide range of price-points. Seiko UK Ltd proudly includes Seiko Timing Services (STS), recognised as a global leader in sports timing technology and a long established timekeeping partner to the World Athletics (formerly IAAF) which will continue until 2029.
