Seismosoft develops specialist earthquake-engineering software (and training) to help engineers and researchers assess, strengthen and retrofit structures subjected to seismic actions. Founded in 2002, we have always focused on two things: scientific rigour and ease of use—so advanced methods can be adopted efficiently in both practice and academia. Our applications are requested at around downloads per month and are used in 110+ countries by universities, consultancies and public organisations. We enable modern seismic workflows, from ground-motion processing to nonlinear structural analysis and retrofit design—supporting performance-oriented studies, comparison of strengthening alternatives and clear reporting for decision-making. While our core focus is building strengthening, our tools are also used across broader structural dynamics and infrastructure applications where reliable nonlinear modelling and seismic input handling are essential.
