Selborne Biological Services is an Australian and European based manufacturer of biological raw materials from various species of Australian and European origin. Selborne originated in the UK, but moved its primary manufacturing headquarters to Tasmania, Australia in the late 1980's. Selborne is a leading supplier of safe-sourced biological raw materials serving the human and animal health industries, with particular focus on the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotech, and veterinary and human vaccine markets. Selborne has nearly 40 years of manufacturing experience and is a preferred supplier to several of the world’s leading human and animal health companies. Our portfolio of products includes a wide range of serum, plasma and protein fractions for cell culture, diagnostic, human and veterinary vaccine, and other biopharmaceutical applications. In partnership with our sister company, International Therapeutic Proteins, Selborne is able to provide antivenins, anti-toxins, polyclonal antibodies, and other sera and antisera from closed DONOR herds. Customisation is a core competency at Selborne. It can refer to species, type of product, treatments such as filtration and irradiation, special packaging, quality control and other aspects.
