Sustainable Economic & Livelihood Development,(SELDO) is registered as a Non-profit organization (NPO) with the U.S government and is registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the Government of Afghanistan. SELDO is an official member of education cluster & an active member of Shelter (ES NFI), FSAC, WASH, and Nutrition Clusters. SELDO is a non-political, non-governmental and non-profitable social development organization dedicated to the Humanitarian Assistance & sustainable social development of Afghan communities. SELDO has recently implemented few projects of Education and Agriculture in Laghman & Wardak provinces & contribute in FSAC Cluster AFSMS 2023 Monitoring in Laghman & Wardak Provinces from SELDO NPO donation. SELDO's executive management has members with leadership and managerial experiences from well-experienced NGOs previously known as DORA (Development Organization for the Revival of Afghanistan) DORA has successfully completed around 93 various projects of Education, WASH, Health and construction since 2003 to 2010 around the country with well known donor agencies as UNAMA, USAID, IMC, DECON, IOM and Shelter for Life. SELDO’s executive management also has managerial experience of a Construction Company known as NWCC (Nation Wide Construction Company), that has the huge experience of implementing several different projects with reputable donor agencies in Afghanistan. SELDO has been registered for conducting its operations in Afghanistan under two main categories, Humanitarian Assistance, and sustainable social and economic development. These include social economic development, Education, Health, Agriculture, and Humanitarian Assistance. SELDO’s humanitarian assistance practice is focused on the delivery of donations (in cash or in-kind) and crisis relief items to vulnerable families in Afghanistan.
