Selene Nanorobotics

Selene Nanobio Robotics is a biotechnology startup developing precision nanomachinery to solve persistent biofilm infections in dentistry. Our enzyme-powered nanorobots are designed to navigate complex root canal anatomies, penetrate dentinal tubules, and mechanically disrupt biofilm, unlocking a new standard in endodontic disinfection. Born from UC San Diego’s world-class nanobioengineering lab, Selene is backed by NIH grant support and is on track for FDA 510(k) clearance. Our first application targets retreatment-resistant root canal infections, with future expansion into periodontics, implants, and surgical infection control. We are currently preparing our SBIR Phase I submission and seeking strategic partnerships and early investment for preclinical validation.
