Self Reliant India Sri

SRI envision that no one should remain in poverty & every single child without exception must get quality education. Self Reliant India has a two-fold program 'Nanhe Kalam and Whole School Transformation'. The goal of Nanhe Kalam is to empower the underprivileged kids of government schools to secure an admission into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, residential schools, fully funded by the Ministry of HRD so that they will get the top quality education and will get out of the the vicious cycle of poverty. The second program that Self Reliant India is working on is Whole School Transformation. While in the short run, they are preparing students to secure an admission in Navodaya Schools, in the long run, they are working on programs that will transform the entire school system and make every government school in India at par with Navodaya.
