By 2030, young Africans will make up 42% of the world's youth and 75% of those under the age of 35 in Africa. Despite Africa having the most rapidly growing youth population in the world, yet there exists no made-in-Africa platform that empowers her community of burgeoning young African creators to inspire, co-create, and share rich, authentic African content. This is where SelfieSplash comes in. SelfieSplash is the first ever Pan-African social media platform where users co-create content, make money from content, and share culture with one another. At SelfieSplash, we are building the future of the Creator Economy in Africa by fostering a community of young African creators who tell rich, authentic African stories. By combining various new and existing features, we will create a new, exciting and seamless social networking experience for users. We do not only aim to advance the Creator Economy space in Africa, but to utilize it in making a real world positive impact on pressing issues affecting African youth, SMEs and the Africa continent as a whole.
