Selfless For Her Self-Care

We aim to distribute care kits to people who are currently experiencing homelessness in the Skid Row area of Downtown Los Angeles. Our care kits include feminine hygiene products, unisex underwear, unisex socks, sunblock, chapstick, hair ties, alcohol-free mouthwash, hand towels, q-tips, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, triple antibiotic ointment, shampoo and body wash. With every donation, you are directly helping improve the lives of our neighbors. Along with the distribution of hygiene kits, we are conducting a public health research survey aimed to collect vital information about the homeless population. This info will provide insight into the specific health issues the marginalized homeless population of Skid Row experiences on a daily basis. We are hoping that our research will be used to reduce future outbreaks and the spread of diseases such as Hepatitis A, HIV/AIDS, and more.
