Selma

Selma ~Sounds like travelling from the west to the east and you're not quite there yet~ Selma’s music is best described as alternative folk-pop with oriental influences. Selma (1982) is a singer and composer based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She plays original songs on Spanish guitar and saz, accompanied by a bassplayer and percussionist/drummer. Occasionally you'll hear a Turkish folksong passing by. Selma's been performing on a regular base in the Netherlands since a couple of years. In December 2008 Selma self-released her debut album, called ‘Umbrellas’.
