Semi Hermatics Engineering Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) has been involving in manufacturing for Welding Habitat System (also known as Pressurized Habitat System and Welding Isolation Chamber) for oil and gas industry since 2013. With support from our technical and project team, we are specialized in Welding Habitat System and also provide rental services for hot work activity (welding, grinding and other activity that have potential lead to explosion of fire incidents) for offshore and onshore facilities. The client that already had experienced with our equipment are PETRONAS CARIGALI SDN BHD, PTPTE Thailand Inc, Brunei Shell Petroleum, Nigeria Shell, Exxon Mobil and Talisman Energy as well. Welding Habitat system was designed to help client to avoid non shutdown requirement in order to proceed for any hot work activity, where the system are equipped with ATEX / Zone 2 Approval for equipment and accessories as well. For normal situation, client will perform facilities shutdown and allocated for few days to perform the hot work without welding habitat system being used, but at the same time the daily production being stopped due to safety reason. By having Welding Habitat System in used, client does not have to shut down their facilities and able to perform the hot work at the same time, without worry about the integrity of the equipment, since the equipment are manufactured and assembled using special certified equipment for ATEX / Zone 2.
