Semicon Fine Wire (“SemWire”) was established in 2008. The company is a supplier of microelectronic assembly bonding wires. The Company’s core business is the development and manufacture of non-conventional bonding wires (such as copper, palladium coated copper and silver alloy fine wires) for interconnection in Integrated Circuit (IC) devices as cost saving alternatives to the conventional gold fine wires which are expensive. Unlike other companies, SemWire is the only provider of non-conventional fine wires which is not burdened by the conflict of offering the more expensive conventional gold fine wires as a core business and, at the same time, offering lower cost alternatives to replace them.
