Semillero De Ideas

Semillero de Ideas, or the Nursery of Ideas, is a non-profit dedicated to engaging farmworkers to lead and foster innovation in agriculture. Farmworkers, through their daily experience, are an untapped source of knowledge to improve the quality of work, aid growers to meet key metrics, and increase the integrity of our food supply. Semillero de Ideas supports farmworkers and their employers by establishing workshop spaces in farmworker communities that will include the latest technological and mechanical equipment to help them create innovative products. These spaces will provide a safe environment where workers can learn process improvement and technology skills, support each other, and give voice to their expertise and unique insights.
