Semper & Adhuc

semper (lat)[sem.per], adv, 1. always, all the time, of all times, ceaselessly, constantly. adhuc (lat)[ad'hu:k], adv, 1. until now, until this moment, until now, still. In the course of history, a multitude of watch mechanisms have become orphaned, without cases, without bracelets. Functional, but forgotten. The SEMPER & ADHUC workshop therefore went in search of this heritage, with a view to restoring it according to the rules of the art and to offer it a brand new casing. The result: a new watch with a perfectly restored old-fashioned mechanism at its heart. To acquire a SEMPER & ADHUC watch is to give a chance to a mechanism whose outcome was uncertain, and to begin its new life.
