Semtation GmbH, founded in 2001 and based in Potsdam, Germany, develops SemTalk®, a business process modeling tool used by a variety of customers, globally. The company has focused on business process management software and modeling tools for over two decades. SemTalk has been recognised as the winner of several process solution awards and supports industry-standard notations including BPMN 2.0 and others for business process modeling and documentation. The SemTalk platform features controlled vocabulary and a centralised repository system for maintaining consistency across process models within organisations. The software is extensible, allowing users to work with different modeling notations based on their requirements. To support different organisational infrastructure needs and deployment preferences, Semtation also offers SemTalk an on-premise configuration. Many customers prefer, though, to utilise SemTalk in cloud-hosted configurations, where it is deeply integrated in the Microsoft Infrastructure, notably in Microsoft Teams ®.
