Senselab Tum
Sense Lab is a research project by The Chair of Building Technology and Climate Responsive Design. The project aims to understand the impact of the built environment on people by means of comfort, performance, health and well-being through quantifiable metrics, in particular psychophysiological data. The purpose-built climate chamber in TUM's Faculty of Architecture hosts a series of experiments with people, simulating a variety of environmental conditions. Currently, the lab is equipped to regulate the temperature, lighting levels and conditions, acoustic levels and several ventilation modes, while monitoring the occupants' ECG, EDA and EEG data.
