Sensory Matters

Julie Baker has taken a break as an Occupational Therapist to raise her 3 beautiful children. Since becoming a mum she has developed a love for sewing and making things for her children and others, starting her original business, Cloth for Comfort. With an O.T. background, most products tended to be beneficial for the developing child, designed to provide activities to increase fine and gross motor skills, kinaesthetic awareness, core body stability, proprioception, balance, focus and concentration – all whilst they are having fun! Sensory Matters is a branch off from Cloth for Comfort and focuses on products which can be of benefit to children and adults with special needs – a great resource for therapists, carers, parents and teachers. New products are regularly added – like us on Facebook or sign up to our newsletter on to see the latest updates! As Sensory Matters is a second business and I am a Work At Home Mum, raising 3 young children, my Facebook page and website will take a little while to complete.
