SensTrain - Drug free relief for Phantom Limb Pain. Launching in 2024, SensTrain will be the world's first clinically-proven, drug-free, nonintrusive medical device delivering a proven therapy to treat phantom limb pain. We’ve transformed the delivery of a clinically proven therapy called Sensory Discrimination Training (SDT). SensTrain is a ground breaking, patented technology that will allow phantom limb pain sufferers to effectively treat their condition from home in short 30 minute treatments. Until SensTrain, the biggest difficulty with this therapy was the administration of treatment which required in-clinic sessions almost daily for a minimum of 30 minutes a time, so almost impossible to administer due to the level of time commitment needed. SensTrain provides an easily accessible at home therapy solution. In 5,10 or 30 day therapy programs, amputees can effectively manage their pain, at home, at a time to suit them. All while remotely supported by a healthcare professional. SensTrain achieves this through a custom-built Android app that shares patient performance back to healthcare providers, allowing them to monitor and effectively manage the treatment program and ensure improved patient outcomes.
