CareServant (a Sentean Group Company) has for many years been a leading player in the European “Patient Entertainment” market, with installations in thousands of hospital beds and multiple countries. A spin-off from Philips NV and based in Eindhoven, NL, we offer a centrally managed patient portal for information, entertainment and communication at the bedside. Our expertise in connecting (via HL7) with the Hospital Information System (HIS) lets patients see targeted, relevant content based on age, location, treatment and language. Our deployments are focused on Apple's IOS operating system and devices (iPad & Apple TV). With better user experience and added functionalities we take our product from “Patient Entertainment” to “Care Engagement” and move towards mobile health. With that we create – at a time of huge pressures on our health systems – a significant value-add in patient satisfaction, cost reduction through hospital process digitalization as well as patient recovery.
