Sepahan Cement Co. was established on Feb 04, 1970 aiming at the production of grey cement. It was registered on April 18, 1971. The first production line with a capacity of 3300 tons clinker per day and the second production line with the same capacity were put into operation in July 1979 and October 1981, respectively. Considering the growth of per capita cement consumption in the country, increased degree of civil activities and, also, the lack of cement production in the market, as the main factors, Sepahan Cement co. has provoked to arrange the commissioning a new production line With capacity of 3300 tons clinker per day. Upon establishment of a new line and with considering research and scientific investment in the field of new cements production, the production capacity of the factory has currently raised by 4 million tons, believing in offering products that meet customers demand and producing different cements for special applications. Sepahan Cement produces 9 types of cement including Portland, Slag Portland, Limestone, Pozzolan as well as Composite cements. With reliable experience in producing various slag cement types and conducting research and applied studies as well as acquiring adequate technical know-how, this company is premier and unique producer of this type of cement in compliance with European and Iranian standards.
