Sequoia Companies, and the parent company, Sequoia, LLC was formed in 1996 for the specific purpose of consulting in analysis of development plans for complex real estate transactions. Sequoia develops project specific business plans and development models for land development, residential construction, and taxing district bond modeling in public finance opportunities. With a background of 27 years in banking, and 12.5 years in workout and real estate valuation/liquidation in the Mid-Atlantic region, Jack Haese, the managing member is outsourcing this knowledge to banks and other financial institutions to assist in these situations. A recently added ability is assistance in securing bond release for sureties, where the original developer has either dissolved, been adjudicated bankrupt, or has simply walked away. Working closely with a cadre of land development contractors, Sequoia will bid the work to be copmpleted, and prepare an overall proposal for the client to approve and administer, which will reduce costs otherwise spent by local authorities to finish public works projects, who typically spend much more than reasonable costs.
