SERCAFIM is an independent manager of investment funds who invests in established companies with a minimal revenue of €1M with an ambitious, but realistic, growth plan. As fund manager, we are both pro-actively looking for investment targets or review business cases for entrepreneurs, requiring funding. Our investment process is supported by a selected investment advisory board, which consists of industry experts and experienced leaders and entrepreneurs. We look for management teams with an excellent business sense and are passionate about their trade, industry and company. We do not finance any individual asset acquisitions or working capital needs, but in strategic transformation, expansion in products/service and geography, as well as in turn-around strategies, management buy-in and buy-outs. We also finance mergers & acquisitions for mature companies. As investors, we actively participate in the execution of the plan in which we invested through participation on a board level and introducing the company to available leaders and matter experts to support the execution. We are looking for investment targets with an exit horizon on 5 to 7 years through a strategic sale or IPO.
