Sero Zero Waste

Sero Waste Ltd (“Sero”) will be a zero-waste grocery shop in central Newport, South Wales. Sero is Welsh for ‘zero’ and it will be a local hub for people to shop knowing their environmental impact is as minimal as possible (for example through offering sustainably sourced products, avoiding single- use plastics and encouraging the use of re-usable containers). This idea and ethos behind Sero has grown out of a deep-rooted desire of its founding directors to address the significant problems associated with the current use of single use plastics, food waste and unsustainable shopping habits having seen the worrying impacts on the environment first hand.
