The Set Them Up Foundation (STUF) is committed to delivering impactful and enriching lessons to young adults aged 15 to 19 in communities across the United Kingdom. Our goal is to provide essential financial knowledge and skills that prepare them for a successful future. We are building a comprehensive range of lessons covering various important topics, including: Financial planning: Developing good money habits early on is crucial for fostering financial responsibility and independence. Investments: Our lessons empower young adults to understand concepts such as stocks and bonds, equipping them with the knowledge to make informed investment decisions. Mortgage and rental advice: We provide valuable insights into the costs associated with housing, helping young adults navigate the world of real estate with confidence. Pensions: Our lessons introduce the concept of saving and planning for retirement, enabling young adults to secure their financial future. In addition to these core subjects, we have developed an extensive library of 50 lessons available on our online learning platform. These cover a wide range of topics, including First Pay Slip, Tax, Life Insurance, Introduction to Cryptocurrency, Fraud & Ponzi Schemes, Cost-of-living Comparisons, Financial Wellbeing, Emotional Spending, and many more. Our aim is to provide comprehensive financial literacy education that equips young adults with the skills they need to thrive in life.
