Shah FIBC is a business unit of Bangladesh's largest conglomerate, the Abul Khair Group. The Abul Khair Group surpassed the billion-dollar mark a few years ago. The expansion of the billion-dollar club was primarily the result of two factors. To begin, in response to the market's rapid expansion, Abul Khair Group is expanding their factories and making new investments. AKG is active in the dairy industry, nutrition supplement milk, beverages, cement, ceramics, steel, marble, and other industries. ShahFIBC operates one of Bangladesh's largest bag manufacturing plants, which is outfitted with European machinery. Abul Khair Group consumes a significant amount of FIBC and cement bags for their sister companies, and ShahFIBC has recently begun exporting bags, primarily to Europe and Far East Asia.
