Shawn Robertson Hypnosis

Hypnosis has been proven scientifically as a reliable and side effect free treatment for chronic pain, migraine and irritable bowel syndrome. Poorly understood by the medical community, chronic pain, migraine and IBS are often the diagnosis of last resort. Because there is usually no tissue damage or disease, all a doctor can do is treat symptoms, often with expensive drugs with disturbing side effects. Migraine and IBS sufferers are told to avoid trigger foods and stick to spartan diets. Chronic pain patients must learn to live with the condition, with no hope of improvement. Chronic pain, Migraine and IBS are cases of the neuromatrix of the body being out of balance. These ailments fall into the category of mind-body illnesses. Through trauma, life disturbing events, or simply the stress of modern day living, the brain and the body have gotten out of balance, and the body's defensive mechanisms have produced this pain. The good news is that brain is remarkably plastic. It can change. And it can make you well again. All healing is self-healing. There is no ‘incurable’ disease from which someone has not recovered, even at the threshold of death.
