A retail brand of exclusive pashmina accessories of shawls and stole. Shaza is a merging of Kahani and Karigari using age old techniques bringing a contemporary expression using Indian Textiles. Proudly an all Indian brand, our collections are hand crafted, ethically produced and have zero wastage production processes. Shaza is a love story between art and textiles. I wanted to directly connect with my clients having served B2B first and give what they would desire in shawls, stoles and make pashmina and accessory not just for winters but to lift an everyday outfit. The brand came into existence when I myself experienced luxury and versatility of the fabric. Since 2003, my family has an export and trading business of cashmere and pashmina products. Owing to which, I came across a lot of artisans and leading export houses that develop this product into its opulent form. It was overwhelming to come across cashmere qualities and the processes it undergoes to become a highly polished product. Hailing from a scientific community, I was inquisitive and studied the textile industry quite closely. I was smitten with the sheer beauty and elegance of this yarn and had an yearning to narrate stories through this medium. This led to the origination of Shaza. Shaza is woven ethereal luxury, handcrafted by fine workmanship and precision. We offer unchallenged quality that can be invested in as an heirloom. We call our customers Shaza family as they do not just invest in a product but a community that is supported and nurtured. We commit to reuse, recycle and reduce our products with zero wastage. All the scrap is often recycled into stuffing or into a new piece itself. My vision for Shaza is to reach more people who have often thought of owning a shawl but have been hesitant to its use. Well, it’s no longer just a winter accessory and owing to its tight weave and durability it withstand hundred of years and comes out beautiful than ever.
