ShelfAware LLC is an industrial automation provider that focuses on supply chain automation. Historically, manufacturers have looked to their small parts vendors to monitor and replenish these intricate inventories through traditional vendor managed inventory programs or VMI's. The vendor sends their employees onsite to periodically monitor and replenish the inventory. Over the decades industrial distributors have made minor improvements to these old-school managed inventories, including the addition of handheld scanners, barcodes, and custom software.
