Shenation Initiatives

SheNation INTRODUCTION: Is a Foundation focused on the equipping and empowering of women and girls to fully become all they are meant to be without disparity or discrimination. SheNation was born out of a need to help females (women and girls) maximize their potential. A lot of capacity among women are under-utilized and in some cases not even tapped at all because of some "boxes" we and our society have put on ourselves. CORE VALUES At SheNation We Value Excellence, Integrity and Progress. Vision and Mission Our VISION: is to raise a breed of women who are not afraid to explore all that they are and become it. Our MISSION: is to be the support system, the bridge and builders that women can use to spring forward and make positive impact. Activities: A. 360 Conference: A conference for women from different works and spheres of life to teach, equip and train them on becoming the 360 woman. The 360 woman is a woman who is successful in all the areas of her life. B. ImpactShe: Is a series on intervention and education-based activities for young girls ages 10 – 20. We have: i. The virtual mentoring platform that pairs young girls with older, seasoned, more established women who have excelled to train and mentor these girls on Building Self-esteem and Confidence, Developing Passion direction and Leadership. ii. The physical mentoring platform for young girls ages 10-15 on the same growth areas as the one above as well as conference and training session focused on good governance. C. Aburo (which means sister in the Yoruba language), is a video series created with relevant content to highlight issues women go through, to encourage and inspire women and girls to fulfilling purpose. D. WIBE: An acronym for Women In Business Event, is a networking event aimed at fostering collaborations among women in business and building a support system these women can leverage on.
