Shewa: Dance, Art & Design (Shewa Designs Ltd) Bringing fun and fulfilment through dance, art and design. Shewa was set up in 2010 by managing director Claire Donaldson, combining her passions for dance and art. The company incorporates 3 areas - Shewa Dance, Shewa Art and Shewa Design and has a sister company called Dance System CIC (a Community Interest Company). All areas are focussed on enabling individuals (children and adults) to express their creative talents. We teach, we train, we educate and we help people take control of their emotions whilst at the same time encouranging them to have fun, find peace and enjoyment. Shewa offers unique dance and art programmes in education, the Arts Award Qualifications and runs community dance, arts and craft classes, holiday clubs and children's parties. It nurtures new and emerging visual artists, raising profiles and selling their art work. Dance System (Community Interest Company) is a unique and specialist provider of dance and well-being programmes for adults, children and young people. The company aims to inspire, brighten and transform peoples lives by building confidence and self esteem through creative dance, performance and therapeutic practices including meditation and mindfulness.
