Health & Wellbeing Shiatsu Practitioner offering online & on-site Self-Care in Difficult Times workshops to staff teams, volunteers and client groups + 1:1 support to individuals. Offering a range of tools to increase wellness & resilience, addressing physical & emotional symptoms of stress, anxiety, chronic health conditions. I am interested in working with people to empower them reach their full potential by supporting them holistically to develop physical, mental, & psychological well-being. I work in partnership with organisations & community groups, offering Self-Care in Difficult Times workshops, & 1:1 Shiatsu treatments in staff teams, & as an additional support to partners existing work with clients. Recent work with Open University, EVOC, Blesma Limbless Veterans, ERA drug & alcohol recovery project, Cyrenians Youth Project, Leith Community Crops in Pots, Re-Union Canal Boats. I have worked within the mental health; volunteer coordination; community development sector for 30 years with a wide range of client groups. I have experience of working with people with additional needs: mental health, learning disabilities, alcohol & subsistence misuse issues. I have successfully fund raised for small & large pots of money for project development within the youth volunteering sector. Shiatsu Body Therapy. I offer shiatsu body therapy on a 1:1 basis in Leith, Edinburgh. I support people when they are experiencing tension & stress, difficulties or big changes within their education, career, relationships or physical health. Shiatsu helps with the physical and emotional aspects of these situations. Clients come to see me as they move through life events: pregnancy, post-pregnancy, peri-menopause, and entering the menopause and middle years. I support people when they are dealing with the symptoms of illnesses, burn out, & coming to terms with chronic health conditions. Many people come regularly as part of their self-care routine
