Shin-Ei Animation, founded in 1976 and part of the TV Asahi Group, is a Japan-based animation studio with offices in Tokyo and Kobe. It is best known for long-running classics such as Doraemon and Crayon Shinchan. Beyond these flagship titles, the studio has produced a wide range of works, including Atashin’chi, Pui Pui Molcar, Teasing Master Takagi-san, The Dangers in My Heart, Milky Subway, and With You and the Rain. Its recent feature films—Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window (Paul Grimault Award, Annecy International Animation Film Festival) and Ghost Cat Anzu (co-produced with Miyu Productions)—have earned international acclaim.
