Our nonprofit was rooted in the aftermath of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting in 2018, when two student survivors, Sawyer Garrity and Andrea Peña, crafted "Shine," a song that swiftly resonated with the community as a source of strength during the process of recovery. For five years, we’ve helped thousands of students overcome emotional challenges through music, art, and drama, hosting frequent camps for students across Florida entirely for free.
