Shinuy Il

Shinuy IL is an Israeli anti-bullying initiative, founded by Yuval Druckmann, Daniel Naor, and Merav Zilpa. All three are victims of bullying who grew up in Modi’in-Maccabim-Re’ut, as Naor has lived in Austin, Texas, for the past few years. Shinuy IL founded the Israeli Forum of Organizations Combating Ostracism, which has set in motion several key national anti-bullying efforts, such as the Ministry of Education’s Program for Emotional Assistance and Prevention of Ostracism and Social Rejection (including the hotline 'A Voice for Everyone'), the Knesset’s Anti-Bullying Caucus, President Isaac Herzog's National Anti-Bullying Forum, and AppsFlyer’s Cross-Sector Partnership Anti-Bullying Forum. As part of our work with the municipality of Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut, we have set up Project My Lens. My Lens is a government-backed anti-bullying program that operates in elementary schools across the city, and teaches students to support one another in real time, through professional phototherapy workshops and exhibitions centered on social rejection. Shinuy IL transforms how Israeli society addresses bullying.
